Based in Lima, Peru, Peatonal develops a practice that moves between architecture, interior design, furniture and objects, understanding each project as an opportunity to build atmospheres with an identity of their own. Its work begins with an attentive reading of place and of those who inhabit it, allowing matter, light, proportion and detail to come together in spaces that feel carefully considered.

Rather than responding to a fixed aesthetic formula, the studio proposes a way of designing in which the existing, the everyday and the sensory acquire a new presence. Across its projects, architecture becomes a sensitive structure for experience: a framework capable of transforming restaurants, cafés, homes, offices and cultural spaces into settings for permanence, encounter and memory.
