Peatonal’s office in Barranco is set within an existing architecture that preserves the memory of the house: its tall openings, its old doors and that contained light that moves through the space with a calmness deeply connected to the neighbourhood. The project does not seek to erase this previous condition, but rather to inhabit it through a contemporary lens, allowing the mineral-textured walls, cement floor, soft-toned carpentry and presence of vegetation to build a workspace that feels close, luminous and profoundly alive.

More than an office understood solely as a place of production, the space functions as a small laboratory for ideas, materials and objects, where samples, books, works of art, vegetation and custom-designed furniture coexist as part of the same way of thinking about design.
